    Antique Violin late 1800s - 1900s - Beautiful Inlayed Instrument
    Antique - Victorian Violin 4/4 late 1800s – 1900s.
    Beautiful inlayed instrument that is in very good and playable condition.
    Top:
    2 piece close grain spruce with double fancy inlay purfling and haring bone edge work, with ebony inlay caps on all corners.
    Back:
    2 piece Flamed Maple with highly ornament beautiful mother of pearl, abalone, wood inlay flower patterns, with large center piece inlay. The back same as top with double fancy purfling and haring bone edge work, and ebony caped corners.
    The Ebony fingerboard is in excellent condition. Dressed with ebony: pegs, chin-rest, and tailpiece with a gold Fleur dely inlay.
    Four German gold fine Wittner tuners.
    Violin  has a few cracks on the top, but was restored by Violin Maker

    in 1978.
    This instrument has a robust tone, and is perfect for the jazz, country, bluegrass, pop, or new age music.
    It is a beautiful show piece instrument for any collector.
