Vintage German 4/4 Electric Violin E. Martin John Buckingham Des Moines Iowa

This is a Vintage Full size fiddle/violin. It has a "Antonious Stradivarious Made in Germany" label. The back is very well flamed and measures 14 & 1/16th inches long. It looks like a Saxony made violin, unmarked E. Martin. The top has a repaired crack , that goes from the saddle to the eye of the F hole. It has been well glued and cleated.  The instrument also has a very cool old electric pickup , with a volume knob. The pickup may need some solder as it seems to crackle a bit. The violin is playable as it is, but could use some new strings and a bit of set up. This violin/fiddle was the main fiddle of an old friend, John Buckingham from Des Moines Iowa. John was a fine musician, and instrument collector, and surely used this instrument at many dances In the area. Johns old song list is still taped to the side. Buyer gets Free shipping in the USA
