    Description

This listing is for a 3 piece outfit I'm describing as an all white sailor suit.  The top has the wide collar that extends to a straight edge across the back, except this one has scalloped edges.  The same scalloped edges are across the top of the patch pocket on the front and the ends of the sleeves.  The sleeves also have two button holes but no buttons, as though they're meant to hold cuff links.  I've photographed one with a safety pin through it to show how that might look. The top measures 15" across side seam to side seam, or a 30" chest, and 17" from shoulder to hem.
The pants or shorts have button holes but no buttons.  I've seen other vintage outfits where the buttonholes on the pants correspond to buttons on the top, but that's not the case here.  I don't now how this would work.  You could add a belt with buttons that would line up, or maybe even fold over this high rise waist to include elastic. They
measure 13.5" across at the hip, and about 12" across at the waist. There's a 6" inseam, and a 10" rise from the crotch to the waist.
There is a matching belt with one button for closure. Buttoned, it fits a 30" waist.
There are no labels or tags, so there's nothing to indicate fabric content or size.  It feels like a cotton blend to me, or a very fine wale corduroy.  I would guess it would fit a boy of 5 years old, but please see the measurements I've listed.
I have many other vintage children's items listed, and am always happy to combine shipping.
