Antique violin, 11" long, w/ case and bow, and (??) maker's photograph.

Description

Our assumption is that this is a pre-1900 (or possibly considerably earlier) violin - made for a child. We believe the photograph to be that of the instrument's
maker
. It never had a cheek-rest. The violin itself is 11" long. The 4 hand carved tighteners are i-vo-reee (?) (or possibly bone). The bow is in very good condition. The 4 strings are there, and the entire case is quality made with fully intact blue velvet. Notice the flowers stenciled on the case's lid. EVERYTHING is extremely well made.
